Join Austin Area Yoga Studios for Katrina AID Donation Classes

Show Your Love for the World...
while discovering the breath we all share.

K
nowing the ongoing need for aid & support for people in our own town and throughout our south eastern region of the US, Austin Area Yoga Studios are joining forces this October (7th, 8th & 9th) to help show how much austin loves the world. Partcipating in these yoga classes will give you an opportunity to learn more about yoga while lending a helping hand to those in dire need.

All donations will be sent directly to a Aid effort of the choosing for each individual studio. Austin Loves the World is researching in attempts to identify sources of support for our region that guarantees proper usage of donated funds for true humanitarian aid. We try to identify organizations that avoid administrative excess and optimize direct humanitarian support.

Brian Bush, a Kundalini yoga teacher, has relocated to Austin following the destruction of his home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi in the wake of Katrina. Brian will share his personal story of how his yoga practice has helped him survive the devastating aftereffects of the storm. He will also teach a special class to open the heart as we collectively offer our help and compassion to all those affected by the hurricane.
